R. Gordon Gilbert

Gordon was called to the Upper Canada Law Society Bar in 2013. For over a  decade, he performed various roles as Counsel, most recently as Senior Counsel for Gilbert Barristers & Solicitors, for The Law Society of Ontario, and as Federal Crown Attorney for the Government of Canada. He has appeared at judicial interim release applications, Charter applications, judge and jury trials before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice and various provincial tribunals. Gordon also maintains an employment litigation practice.

Previously, Gordon was a Staff Lawyer with Legal Aid Ontario advocating against Criminal Code and drug offences for youths and adults.

A graduate of McGill University B.A. (Hons.) and Queen Mary Law School, University of London L.L.B (Hons.), Gordon brings an international perspective to the practice of law.

Gordon is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
